Yes. Game companies pay to find players who actually play their games. When you hit a milestone, that completion has value, and SideLoot shares it with you as points. Every quest shows its point value before you start.
How do points work?
Each quest milestone pays a set number of points, printed on the quest upfront. Points convert at 1,000 points = $10. Points from Confirmed quests can be redeemed from $5 for PayPal, Amazon gift cards, or gaming cards for Steam, Google Play, Xbox, and PlayStation.
When do I get paid?
You are paid within 24 hours of confirmation. The wait is in verification, not in paying you - redemption starts at $5 once a milestone is Confirmed.
Why is my quest Pending?
Pending means you hit the milestone and the completion is being verified with the game and its network. That usually takes a few days. Your dashboard shows Pending until it moves to Confirmed.

How referrals work
You earn your percentage of everything your friends earn, from their first point. Friends count toward your next tier once they earn points from a quest.
And your rate never goes down. A friend becomes an Activated referral once they have at least one Confirmed quest milestone - points earned from a quest and confirmed. Activated referrals are what move you up the tiers below. Referral earnings are credited when your referrals' points confirm. Referrals are optional - your own points never depend on them.

SideLoot does not make games. We publish quests for free mobile games made by other companies, and we share what a verified completion is worth with the player who earned it.

Started → Pending → Confirmed
Hitting a milestone moves it to Pending while the milestone is verified with the game and its affiliate network - confirming it really happened on a real device and account. That can take a few days. A verified milestone becomes Confirmed; your dashboard shows every status, including Reversed if a network ever reverses a completion.

Why confirmation takes time
Games and networks verify completions to keep bots and duplicate accounts from draining the pool that pays real players. That check is the reason SideLoot can pay at all. Pending is not a stall tactic - it is the verification step, and your dashboard shows it honestly the whole way.

When do new quests arrive?
A new Weekly Quest is featured every week, with Side Quests alongside it.
Is this real?
Yes. Game companies pay to find players who genuinely play. A verified milestone completion is worth something to them, and SideLoot shares that value with you as points. Every quest prints its point value before you start, so you can judge for yourself whether it is worth your time.
How do points work?
Each milestone in a quest pays a set number of points, and points convert at 1,000 points = $10. Points sit as Pending while the completion is verified, then become Confirmed and redeemable from $5 for PayPal, an Amazon gift card, or gaming cards for Steam, Google Play, Xbox, and PlayStation.
What does Pending mean?
Pending means you hit the milestone and the game and its network are verifying it - confirming it happened on a real device and account. That check protects the pool that pays everyone. Your dashboard shows Pending until it moves to Confirmed, or Reversed with a visible reason if the network reverses it.
When do I get paid?
Verification can take a few days; once a milestone is Confirmed, you are paid within 24 hours of confirmation.
Do points expire?
Points do not expire in your first year, and active accounts keep their points. The Terms of Service include a dormancy policy for accounts left inactive for 12 straight months, and we email you before anything would happen to a balance.
Is this a job? Can I make a living at it?
No - and we will not pretend otherwise. SideLoot is extra, not a job. It turns game time you already spend into points and modest rewards. Anyone who tells you a rewards site replaces work is not being straight with you.

If a game or network reverses a completion - for example, an install that does not verify, or activity that breaks the rules - the points move to Reversed on your dashboard with the reason visible. They are never quietly removed, and reversed points never count toward your balance.
Do I need to spend money in the games?
No. Quests are built on milestones reachable in free play. Some games offer optional purchases, but no quest requires one.

What we collect
We collect the information needed to run SideLoot, verify quest completions, deliver rewards, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests:
- Account information: your account email address and profile details.
- Gameplay completion data: quest starts, milestone completions, and confirmation or reversal results, received via the affiliate networks that verify completions.
- Device and anti-fraud signals: device identifiers, IP address, and related technical signals used to detect duplicate accounts, VPN or emulator abuse, and fraud.
- Payout data: the details needed to deliver the rewards you redeem.
- Contact messages: the contact form is the only form that sends a message to SideLoot. It sends your name if you give it, your email address, and the message you write to support@playsideloot.com.
- Browser storage: we use browser storage for preferences and progress, including quest starts, the daily check-in and streak, daily quest progress, and payout request records (reward type and points amount), so they are available when you return. You can clear browser-stored progress with the Reset progress control on the Dashboard, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Accounts and sign-in
Accounts are created with Google or an email sign-in link. SideLoot never sees or stores your Google password. Your eligibility attestation - that you are 18 or older and in the United States - is recorded at signup, along with the sign-in method you used.
How completion data is shared (real gameplay verification)
For gameplay verification, completion data is shared with the affiliate networks and game partners connected to your quests so milestones can be verified. Under California law this may count as "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time - see the Do Not Sell or Share path below.

We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of the sharing described above, email support@playsideloot.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" from the email address associated with your information, and we will process the request and confirm by reply.
The community board and activity data
The community boards show weekly standings ranked by Confirmed points and Activated referrals, with names as first name and last initial only (for example, "Marcus T."). Members can opt out of appearing on the boards in account settings.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the site and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and your rights
We keep contact messages while they are needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud prevention and legal obligations. Terms of Service
Using SideLoot
These Terms govern your use of SideLoot, including the quest board, dashboard, rewards, referrals, and community. By using SideLoot, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
SideLoot is available only to adults 18 or older located in the United States. Membership is one account per person and per household.
Points
Points are a platform reward unit. They are not currency, have no cash value outside redemption on SideLoot, and are not transferable. Points convert at 1,000 points = $10 at redemption. Point values for each quest milestone are shown on the quest before you start it.
No guaranteed payment
Points are credited only when a completion is Confirmed. No quest, milestone, points credit, or payment is guaranteed. SideLoot may withhold, delay, reduce, reverse, or cancel points or payments: where required or permitted by applicable law; where fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms is suspected or confirmed; where the game or its network does not confirm a completion, or later reverses it; or in the event of system, tracking, or processing errors, until the error is resolved. SideLoot may correct errors, including by adjusting point balances.
Quest statuses and reversals
Completions move through Started, Pending, and Confirmed - and to Reversed if the game or its network reverses them - as they are verified by the game and its network. A completion can be reversed by the game or network - for example, an install that does not verify or activity that breaks the rules - and reversed completions move the related points to Reversed, shown on your dashboard.
Prohibited conduct
Fraud, multiple accounts, VPN or proxy use to disguise location or identity, emulators, bots, and automated play can void points and close accounts.
Dormancy and unclaimed balances
Points do not expire in your first year. If an account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months, we will email the account address before any dormancy action is taken on the balance, and any unclaimed-balance handling will follow applicable law.
Program changes
SideLoot can change, suspend, or end any part of the program (rates, points values, redemption options, eligibility, the Terms themselves) at any time.

Tax reporting
At $2,000 in payouts in a calendar year, we have to collect a W-9 before further payouts - and gift cards count the same as cash for tax reporting at that threshold. We will notify you when your year-to-date payouts reach $1,500 so there are no surprises.
